Music

I like a wide variety of music. Punk, Rock, Opera, Jazz, Blues and Soul I like something in each of these styles and many more. This page is a collection of Web Sites for bands and solo artists who I like. I may include sites which don't particularly appeal if the site is good.
I have broken them down as solo artists and bands rather than by category because its easier that way and some of them don't fit easily into one section.

Solo Artists

Unofficial but worth a look Peter Gabriel and his own record label home site Radio Real World>/A> David Bowies own Web site with contributions from the man himself. David Bowie

Groups

I saw The Hamsters for the first time when they were supporting Dr Feelgood and I have seen them about eight times since. Playing their own particular brand of R+B along with the most exquisite covers of Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top.

Dr Feelgood have been a particular favourite of mine since 1980. I was greatly saddened by the untimely death of Lee Brilloaux and felt that without him the band would not be the same.
I changed my mind. I spoke to Lee once and talked to him about Wilko johnson, a major talent, leaving the band. Lees answer was that the band is bigger than any individual member. Though Lee will be sadly missed I hope the band carries on. They have endured line up changes before and as long as they keep the same hard hitting style of R+B I will continue to give them my support.
